Fluid Transitions with Elsa (I/III)

  • Stretch and Fold 71 Papaverhof Amsterdam, NH, 1032 KJ Netherlands (map)

Join us for the first of 3 workshops introducing Elsa Vasselin’s 30hr teacher training starting in 2025.

This workshop is designed to help you improve on your skills of transitions.

Those crucial moments of movement and breath in between the poses are considered as important as the asana itself. When you learn to move with your breath while moving, the whole practice can become more fluid, dynamic and relaxed. Together, we will demystify the complexity of these 'in between' moments in both your yoga practise as in daily life.

Enjoy exploring this important and rarely taught function of breath and transitions in yoga. Deepen your practice & understanding.
This workshop will give you the skills to effortlessly activate and align your body and breath during your practise, so your movement will become a gracious flow we crave, both on and off the mat.

We will start with a talk about why practicing the physical and breath activation during your yoga flow is so important for your body and mind. This is followed by journalling and a practice training so your body is fully activated before we advance into the breath and transition movement practices.

We will end our time together with a guided meditation, followed by rest. There will be some time afterwards for a Q & A with Elsa.

Elsa suggests that you have some practice experience before joining this workshop.
