An evening with Spice First

On the 13th of July we welcome chef and food writer Sophie Fleur to host a pop-up dinner in our studio space!

Sophie Fleur is the founder of Spice First: a platform dedicated to making people aware of good spices through dinners, workshops and storytelling. Much like coffee, chocolate and wine — basically the good things in life — spices are a product of nature. With distinct seasons, unique terroirs, and an array of varietals, these botanical gems are best appreciated through sustainable (regenerative) farming practices. Once you’ve tasted the true potential of a spice, you don’t want to go back to boring stale powders. And so, on this breezy evening in May, we invite you to join us for a spicy feast.

Sophie Fleur will cook with Sicilian fennel seeds, freshly cracked Indian cardamom, saffron and many other fun spices that pair so well with the abundance of spring vegetables! Expect platters moving around the long table, new friends and a bunch of spice stories.
