Some of you might have tasted our homemade kimchi already, made with love by one of our in-house chefs, Soyeon. We’re happy to introduce this first fermentation workshop, led by Sumerie Dining (an Asian culinary experience project run by Soyeon and Ting, in Rotterdam).
Participants will learn to make kimchi and learn about the efficacy of fermentation. Additionally they will learn about the overall principles and process of fermentation and the 'bacteria’, Gyun, that play an important role in it. The tasting plate is included with rice, egg, different kinds of pickles and kimchi. After the workshop, participants will have their kimchi to bring home.
It is required to bring your own jar for this workshop!
